Quaint cozy cottage.
9.0Really cozy cottage with a quaint feeling. Chris gave us a great welcome and had the cottage ready earlier than expected which was really appreciated as we were going to a wedding. Spotlessly clean with super comfortable beds. Well equipped kitchen with all mod cons. A lovely place to stay.
− Two of the bedrooms are in the loft and open to the living room downstairs. This wasn’t an issue for our family but could be if privacy and noise were a concern. The spiral staircase to one of the bedrooms is not suitable for children.
Very lovely, relaxing home from home. Would 100% recommend.
10.0The cottage is so lovely and Chris has gone above and beyond to make it a home from home. He keeps it beautifully clean and tidy, inside and out. It is a very welcoming, well appointed cottage. Chris is very welcoming and took time to run through where everything was etc and was only at the end of the phone for any queries. He popped by a couple of times to cut the grass etc.
− My only criticism was the lack of washing line. There was one, but hadn’t been put up yet. With four children and two adults, it was difficult to get clothes dried using only an airer. We managed though and if the line had been up, I couldn’t fault the place or Chris himself.
