7.0Location for visiting Santana was good. Proximity to many hikes. Value for money and best to visit in sunny, warm weather. Kitchen had all we needed and the views of the country lovelly.
− We had 5 days of rain, and due to lack of heat, nothing would dry in the house. Laundry took two days with two plug in space heaters running. Towels never dried..

9.0Self checki-n was smooth and easy, host was easy to communicate. House very spacious and with all things needed. Nice thing - two bedrooms have separate batchrooms. Big private parking. House is located away from main streets so no city noise, very quiet, only nice chirping of birds. Nice views from living room big windows. It was actually sad when leaving the house coz it felt so "at home". Even though I thought it will be long drive to objects, in fact it was much easier than looked on map and was really fast - we reached pico Ruivo parking lot in less than 30 mins, so did the sunrise hike which was the best part of travel, funchal was ~45mins of drive.
