10.0We loved our stay at Heather Cottage in Bakewell. The property is beautifully presented, really clean and well equipped, with a cosy, homely feel. The beds were very comfortable and the bedding and pillows were great quality. There’s lots of attention to detail, more than we’ve experienced elsewhere – nice touches like bathroom toiletries, a hairdryer and even straighteners made it feel like a real home from home. The biscuits left for us on arrival were a lovely touch too. The location is ideal, just a short walk into the centre of Bakewell, and the parking space for one car is really handy. The host was great and kept in touch via text throughout, which was appreciated. Overall, a lovely stay and we’d happily return.
