Amazing stay, would not hesitate to book again. Imagine it would be lovely to stay in summer !
9.0We loved the peacefulness of the location. There is a small general store a short walk away. The bach itself is equipped with everything we needed, had basic pantry needs, easy laundry facilities. Do bring your own body wash/shampoo/personal toiletries. One bathroom but worked well as the toilet is separate to shower facilities. Great shower pressure and option for rain shower. The view to wake up to is amazing and we spent Matariki night on the deck under the stars stargazing - very special memories for the children. Heating was sufficient with one heat pump in the lounge and bedrooms having timed bedroom heaters that turn off after 6 hours. Very comfy beds and blankets/pillows. 50mins from ski fields, and easy roads to Tūrangi where there is a New World and Z service station.
− Easy to use tv, but need personal accounts to access streaming services . Some strong wind gusts made it difficult to sleep the first night. Lighting is cool white through property , would love some warm lights for bedrooms at least.

10.0The house space is very big. Living here is very comfortable, including very clean, quiet, beds are very comfortable, shower water is very strong, light is very bright, heating is enough, having good car parking space. Especially, the lake view from the house is fantastic.

9.0A beautiful location a 2 minute walk from the general store, and close enough to Turangi for other supplies, with a nice view of the steaming cliffs along the way, but not far enough away to be quiet with a great clear night sky. An hour's drive from Mt. Ruapehu.
