We liked everything. We stayed for a day and slept over. We both felt like we were away for a week. The host send me every detail that I need on WhatsApp. Address and also important nitty gritty. Leatitia was there to hand over the keys. She was very friendly We felt welcome. As requested the fireplace was made for us. It was such a lovely experience. We relaxed with a cup of coffee and enjoying the warmth of the fire. Something to remember. The rooms was also a very good experience. Comfortable bedding and also have heated pads. We slept like babies. The location is ideal. Close to everything yet it feels quiet . Close to the see . There is magnificent views to experience. The host will explain to you. Only walking minutes away I would love to go there again. ASAP If you want to relax Feel safe Spend quality time on your own or family and friends then Langbaai Beach Cottage is the place for you.

Close to the beach makes this location amazing, but needs maintenance.

Neat and clean accommodation with strong Wi-Fi, a coffee machine, comfortable pillows, and a lovely outdoor space. Very close to Langbaai and you can hear the ocean. Communication was clear and quick throughout. For winter, electric blankets would be a nice addition.

− 1. Outside bathroom, which contains the only shower available, was not mentioned in the listing. 2. Bathroom door cannot lock. 3. Toilet door cannot close properly and cannot lock. 4. No shampoo or conditioner provided. 5. One Dove soap bar was supplied; liquid body wash would be preferred. 6. Floorboards need serious attention. 7. House is extremely cold in winter. 8. Fireplace does not seal properly and therefore does not radiate heat effectively. 9. Poor insulation causes humidity and damp bedding. 10. General maintenance is needed. 11. Accommodation does not offer value for money.

Everything about the property is well maintained clean and comfortable. We loved the wood heater/fireplace.

− The outside wet room is cute, clean but a touch uncomfortable if you're cold.

Very welcoming host and close attention to detail

The proximity to the beach and coastal path is good. Just a few 100 metres away. The house is very clean and tidy with nice touches and well equipped - and the host is most attentive and responsive.

− It’s is a small property and if one is used to big spaces it can feel a bit cramped and claustrophobic.

Thank you for a lovely stay, we will definitely come visit again.

We enjoyed the walk from the cottage to the beach and the beautiful views of the mountain. We also enjoyed the outside braai area. The cottage was very well equipped and was exactly what we needed for our stay.
