Overall the cottage was lovely and we enjoyed our stay.

− The pillows on the bed were a little lumpy/hard. Unusually for June it was quite chilly in the evenings and we found it a little cold downstairs in the kitchen and lounge area. When parking best to access from the top of the lane by the castle. A little history on the cottage would have been lovely.
Perfect retreat
10.0Really spacious accommodation, clean quiet and perfectly positioned for amenities. Parking was a challenge but not a problem. We would definitely consider a return visit.

8.0Lovely property, great location. Easy access to local amenities. Comfortable, had everything we needed for our stay. Bed was very comfortable.
− It was a little cold in the living room, getting the fire going wasn’t too easy for someone who had never done it before. Not a real issue at all but would have preferred to switch on a radiator.

− There was no personal welcome.We are from abroad and quite like this! There was no updated information about the area. The folder with instructions on how all the equpment worked was too extensive
