− Could do with a deep clean. Was quite dusty inside the house

3.0Only the location and the lovely forest was good.
− Did not have a good stay. It’s clear the owner has little interest in maintaining the property and does not care much for comfort of guests. We are a family of two couples with kids visiting in June. Only one portable heater for 3 rooms, forcing us to leave the living room split system switched on and all the room doors open to keep the house warm. No privacy. We gave the kids’ room the single portable heater. What if we had elderly folk or more children at the height of winter? No electric blankets even though it was advertised. No soap outside the toilet, so you would have to walk from the toilet to the kitchen if you want to wash your hands with soap. No hairdryer in the bathroom. No sponge for dishwashing, only a cloth and a metal scrub. Baking tray is unwashed, full of oil. Disgusting. Some dishes chipped. No coffee beans. Tea leaves instead of tea bags, and only a single tea strainer. No teapot. Inconvenient and time consuming to make multiple cups of tea, we bought tea bags the very next day. No firestarter, only 2 matches, and lighter is nearly empty of fuel. Living room couch is quite uncomfortable, and sinks quite low. DVD player remote not working. Dining room chairs extremely hard, and only 4 out of 6 chairs have chair pads. Carpet pretty gross and probably hasn’t been cleaned in decades.

5.0Everything was lovely, the location was ideal for us, hot water was great. Little more fire wood, would of helped, but was still beautiful.
− We headed home early, rats or possum kept was awake the night before and I just didn't want another night like it was, the lack of curtains in the laundry, dinning area and kitchen are needed for privacy. I just felt uncomfortable.
