Clean, airy, fresh and spacious. Secure gated parking.

− Hand-wash, had an odd smell, so used our own. Would have helped to have had shampoo and bodywash as an extra.

Dirty but has potential

I like the decor and layout of the house. Parking was good.

− It hadn't been cleaned. Bedrooms smelt of BO, crisps on the floor, dishwasher full and dirty, dusty, crumps on the sofa.

Functional for our needs for a bolt hole for sports over the weekend but needs work

The check in instructions were comprehensive

− The exterior of the property has not had any attention for a long time and the garden whilst not needed for our stay could only be described as extremely overgrown! There was none of the usual hospitality items provided like coffee or milk for our arrival and the property definitively needed a better clean than it had. The added bonus of neighbours having loud domestics in the middle of the night didn't add to the comfort level either.

Really clean and well presented house. Comfortable beds and accommodating hosts. Excellent location and easy for us to travel to and from destinations (mostly IceSheffield). No issues and a bonus, off road parking with gates for extra security!

Concerning - paying the deposit all the time I was there I was thinking will I be refunded

− Beds were not comfortable - mattresses sinking The £150 deposit I did not notice in the listing, left the property, taken photos of how the property was left, was expecting the deposit to be returned with 2 days , nothing , messaged host to find out when the deposit would be return. I was informed this is usually with 7 days after 7 days, no refund , on the 8th day I had to message the host about it, only then the deposit was refunded. I was only informed of the deposit on the morning of when we were due to leave, and the key code to access the property would only be given after the deposit was paid. I felt I was placed in a difficult position and had no choice but to pay the deposit. Which obviously I had too as we were about to travel and would otherwise have no where to stay. This was not a nice position to be in especially as full payment was already taken before. I book properties regularly on booking.com and thisnis the first time I had to pay a deposit.
