Beautiful and relaxing stay
9.0The house itself was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed for our stay. The location was beautiful and just a short walk to the castle. We had dinner each night at the castle café, and the food and drinks were delicious. We spent a day on rented bicycles in nearby Leithem, and did some shopping in Carrick on Shannon. Overall it was a great stay and we would definitely return!
− The only disadvantage was the lack of wifi at the house. We were able to use wifi in the castle with no issue

− No showers working in the property at all. I thought they might have let milk out for a cup of tea co wondering we paid over €400 for one night.

5.0− Water was shut off for several hours. Host didn’t proactively help. I had to ask her what was going on and she was already aware of the shut off, but didn’t communicate that to us.

− Cleanliness was good but some areas would’ve benefitted from a more thorough clean -the front entrance way was cobwebby, smudgy tv screen, etc. One of the showers didn’t work during our stay.

6.0Location was excellent, checking in was very easy, 4 bedrooms was very good, the basics were in the house
− Main bathroom shower had only one setting full power and hot, you had to get out of the shower to turn it off made it awkward to use
