fantastic little home away from home with everything we could need for a family vacation

clear entry instructions, lock box, with key, unique house/architecture, great for family size, in unit washer/dryer, cars dvd, full kitchen was so nice to have because dining out options are limited around there

option for baby crib/pack n play would be nice, would have grilled if there as a propane tank

Enjoyed my stay. Great location, place was clean, paperwork was overboard.

Was not intuitive how to get into the property, was never given a code. Had to call for help. The property owner sent ~15 pages of rules and regulations, which was a bit overboard.

Good

The cabin is in a good location. The place was well furnished. It's a good space for 1 family or 2 couples. Check in was easy and as instructed.

They could do much better with cleaning. The toiletries and other products looked like an old stock. We found a few bed bugs and the comforter and sheets looked very old and used.

Comfy beds, good location, but not a good value for the money.

4.0

Comfy beds and comfy living room furniture. Decent kitchen except for the broken coffee maker. Good warm water pressure in the shower. Quiet, pretty road through a forest, though part of it is a recent clearcut. Convenient to Mt Rainier.

Way way way too expensive for not being very nice on the inside. I know the location is desirable, but for $800 for 2 nights the place should be nice and spruced up. Coffee maker should work. Shower caddy should be nonslip-coated and not fall away from the wall down onto the showerhead. (Scared the daylights out of me, LOL) Weird hole in the drywall above the shower. No shampoo or body wash is supplied. Today it is expected that those things are in place in any vacation rental. Bathroom fan and heater blowers are not clean. Dismal gray carpet, not terribly old perhaps but grimy. Depressing banged-up beige interior paint. Needs a couple more table lamps. I saw a mouse indoors twice. 8 page single-spaced Instructions PDF said to go over the guest checklist when you arrive, but the checklist wasn't there. It says to call with problems, but there's no landline and no cell service; also confusingly implies there would be a $45 or greater charge for calling with a problem. Also refers to amenities that don't exist, like a "spa." Also in eight pages it never says whether or not the place has wifi. I emailed in advance to ask, and they said this house has no internet; but then it turned out there was a router with wifi after all. That was a nice surprise, but this very basic amenity (internet) should be mentioned in the description. I think this instructions PDF, like the decor, probably hasn't been updated in a long time. Anyone who has stayed at a decent Airbnb will, I believe, feel that this place is not up to par / not professionally run. I'm not super picky, but this was really disappointing for the money paid.
