Ultimately, the presence of the roaches made my stay uneasy and uncomfortable.

The seclusion and wooded area was very serene. The host was very nice and responsive. I had no issues at all gaining access to the property. When I told her of the roaches I saw she instructed me to use bug spray that was kept at the property. There's also complimentary water and snacks as well as some extra bathroom essentials just in case you left your toiletries at home.

− Overall the facility wasn't horrible, as I've stayed in worse. The door to the main entrance was very dirty and full of spiderwebs, while the front walkway looked unkept as well. Once inside, the presentation and layout inside of the unit was neat and organized. I gave this rating due to a few issues. Over the coarse of the entire stay I saw several German cockroaches so I was in fear of bringing them home. It was move-in weekend for Georgia Southern students so there wasn't anywhere to stay or I would've left the 1st night and forfeited my payment. I left my belongings in my vehicle until I needed them to minimize the possibility of carrying them back home with me. There were other critters that came into the unit through a few gaps around the floor boards and base of the house, but I could expect those due to the unit being nestled within a wooded area. The bathroom wasn't 100% to par. The toilet was very loose at the base so every time I sat down, it would rock forward as if it was about to separate from the ground. Additionally, there was hair on the bathroom floor, bathtub, sink, floors, and the sheets to the master bedroom when we pulled the comforter back. The kitchen chairs were made from a clothlike material and were filthy with food stains and dirt. We simply used the extra bath towels as chair covers.

A great couple of days. Nice, quiet, and clean. Just what I needed after a long week of working.

− The front door lock was aggravating, but management took care of it quickly.
