We had a lovely stay, it is as if you step back in time but with full facilities. It was clean and comfortable, the owne
10.0Full of character with attention to details , it was in a lovely area just few steps away from the Royal castle. Pubs, shops and restaurants only 2 minutes away so it was very convenient.
Charming cottage, village and host!
10.0Highly recommend - a charming cottage, brimming with character, cleverly curated with antique furniture, books and details. Located in the centre of the village with all we needed on the doorstep. The host has a flair for this and is also hugely personable, helpful and offers a wealth of local insight.
Nice home - could benefit from a new sofa
7.0Beautifully kept home, such beautiful original features. Very atmospheric. Comfy beds. Lovely modern elements such as roll top bath and a great shower, dishwasher and washing machine.
− While I appreciate the antique furnishings, the small sofa and two chairs in the living room are not really usable. They are not comfortable and the sofa in particular has seen better days - when you sit down you almost touch the floor.
Quaint and authentic Irish stay!
10.0Very friendly host who called to make sure we were comfortable and gave us suggestions for restaurants and things to see while there. We would like to have stayed longer but it was a quick trip to go to GOT tour which is just 15 from our stay so very good location
− Remember it’s an old attached so it has no air conditioning but we are used to that in Ireland
Cosy cottage
8.0A really quaint cottage right in the centre of the town, exquisite interior and the attention to detail is fabulous. There are several great restaurants and pubs in the town. Good bus service into Belfast.
− Parking wasn't easy, there is restricted parking on the street, so you can't leave the car there all day, found it difficult to park outside the court house which is free, had to park further down the road, which wasn't a big issue, but something to be aware of. The Aga was really warm, I'm sure in the winter this is really cosy. But it was a little too warm for us.

10.0Perfect location for our little trip to Balmoral show. Only 5 mins from showground and in easy reach of some lovely little pubs for meals.
