Wunderbarer Aufenthalt in sagenhafter Umgebung, sehr netter Gastgeber
9.0Faial da terra ist ein wunderschöner Ort, etwas abgelegen, aber genau das haben wir gesucht. Das Haus liegt am Ende des Dorfes an einem gluckernden Bach- einfach traumhaft! Im Dorf gibt es einen Mini Mercado für das Nötigste, Großeinkäufe sollte man woanders tätigen. Das Haus ist mit allem was man benötigt ausgestattet, insbesondere die Ausstattung der Küche war super und ließ keinen Wunsch offen. Der Gastgeber Jose ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, bei Ankunft fanden wir Milch, Saft und Bier im Kühlschrank- wirklich lieb und aufmerksam. Wir haben uns im Casa do sanguinho sehr wohl gefühlt.
− Man sollte Hühner mögen :) Im Wald leben einige kleine wilde Hühnerpopulationen, die teilweise ganz schön Rabatz machen. Hat uns allerdings nicht wirklich gestört.

10.0The location is beautiful and perfect for hiking. The patio with ocean view was amazing. The cows and goats grazing outside the window and the sound of the stream were so sweet.

Lovely location at a remote quiet village
10.0Gorgeous location next to a stream, at the start of a trail to the waterfalls. Located at the end of the village, there is no traffic, and plenty of parking space. The host is very friendly, offering tips and advice and even a mid-stay cleaning. Faial da terra is a very small village with one small restaurant (once you get to know the owner, he is a really nice guy), one sports bar and one well-stocked small supermarket. Perfect for a quiet get-away, but keep in mind it's at least a 35-minute drive to Furnas hot pools.
− The only thing missing in the house were coat hangers near the front door for our wet raincoats.
