Lovely, quiet island stay with caring hosts, perfect for families
9.0Lovely island home, decorated with care and taste, perfect for a 4-person family. Fully equipped kitchen, wifi, fans and AC (although it runs a bit weak upstairs), things like shampoo, salt & spices, coffee provided. Quiet location with 10 min walk to the center & beaches. Very responsive hosts who welcomed us in person and helped us arrange excursions and private transport from/to Playa del Carmen and Cancun, as well as local taxis. Everything went smoothly, we would happily return!
− The only thing missing for those staying longer is a laundry machine to run your beach stuff/towels after a few days.

10.0The house has super positive energy, we felt like at home. The owner is very responsive and helped us with transport, tours and recommended some of the best restaurants on the island. The kitchen is fully equipped, beds are very good, and each room has its own bathroom. Also racoons in the night were great fun for the kids. Even the cactus on the terrace bloomed during our stay. We loved it.
− The location is a bit away from the beach, but still in the walking distance.
Casa Cacahuate! Holbox’s perfect sleepy island getaway!
10.0From the monument we arrive this place was paradise. Elena started us off by meeting us at the home and giving us a tour. She then gave us direction on how to navigate the island with emphasis on our interest. The home is s beautiful, clean, and comfortable. The architecture is amazing! I would love to stay here again, only longer!
− Nothing other than having to leave! Seriously, maybe having beach towels would be nice but I was generally dry by the time I slipped my sandals on. The water did go out for the Island but that really isn’t a reflection of the home.
Overall - a perfect stay. The house was a cozy little treasure off the beaten path.
9.0Location was not far from center of town or beaches, house was clean, well kept. Pretty much had all one would need for a vacation home stay. Elena was the perfect host. Very attentive to our needs.
− Although close to town a little off the beaten path for some of my friends that joined me. A lot of big water puddles on the roads to get to the house.
Superb stay at Holbox! Casa Cacahuate is totally recommendable if you want a quiet spot, but close to the main attractio

− Maybe the backyard could be quite more appealing, but still enjoyable.
