I wished I had stayed in a more beach centric location.

The garden was very nice. The room was nice. Kitchen well stocked. Filtered water provided.

− No WiFi. Although the property manager acknowledged this, after 4 days still no WiFi! The location didn’t match a beach stay. No close access to the beach, no sight of the beach, no sound of much of anything except construction noise. The start of the public beach was two long blocks almost .5km. It was more secluded than centrally located.

Privacey was nice, courrtyard and table outside was nice. Not particulary like the pictures.

− Noise of water pump from next door hotel was so loud, constant periodic whirring 24hrs a day next to bed. This should be fixed or something done about it.

I loved the setting in a lush jungle garden. I loved the location. I loved the security of the place. I loved the quietness.

− The roof leaked. We lost.some power - the light and sockets in one room

Clean tidy place. Simple but excellent value for money. It provides basic but comfortable accommodation within an easy walk of all shops bars and beaches

− I was fine but people might be out off a little by how rustic bits of it are. It is not a five star hotel, it is an amazing experience

Good location; it’s just a couple of blocks from the main square and beach entrance.

− Very loud construction noise , pretty much every night. Everything in the room need to be update. The room was not ready to move in , so unwelcome .When we arrived the air condition was not working and the room was very hot, two beds stuck together and moving around , with only one poor pillow . We called to the owner and asked her to fix the air condition and bring another pillow , we are two people .About couple hours come the guy to fix the air condition and brought the second pillow. The guy checked the condition and said need to buy some parts, change the filter (the filter was very dirty and he tried clean it by his hands), and buy new controller.He told to us that the air condition could work only manually and have only 22 f temperature all the time, so the room was little chilli. He left and never comeback to fix the air condition .We keep calling to the owner and asking when will be fixed , the answer was very simple , the guy cannot find the parts to fix it. We been over there 2 weeks, parts never founded . About one week the owner show up at 8.00 p.m and offered us to move the next day to another room, we agreed , but the next morning no one show up to show as the another room and give the keys. Be careful if you still go in there , dont leave any food on the table, because they are many ants, and very friendly worms in this place. Dont bring your kids , over there is no space for them( two beds stack together, hold between them, two pillows and two stools., that all.

I enjoyed my stay, and felt quite at home there. Basic, simple, would be happy to stay there again.

Good location. Privacy. Nice garden with wildlife: saw hummingbirds, an agouti and a blue land crab. Great shower. Comfy bed. Good facilities generally. Good price. Mosquito netting works well. Host provides drinking water - so no need to buy bottled water. Puerto Morelos feels really safe. Can walk around the town any time of day or night. People generally very friendly.

− Air-con sometimes drips water, so had to move bed away from it. After heavy rain, some drips came through the ceiling. Beach is 5-10 mins walk, but it's a nice walk.
