Quiet street but not really suitable for families with young children.

6.0

The property is only a 30 minute drive from Alton Towers and 1 hour from Birmingham. The property is spacious and provided everything we needed for our stay with 3 young children. Check in and check out were quick and easy.

The property is on a run down street. The neighbouring property is all boarded up and we are pretty convinced squatters were living there. The interior was very worn in places; lots of peeling paint, damage to the walls, water damage in the bathroom etc. The biggest issue was the property layout and the extremely steep staircase! There are 2 bedrooms upstairs but the only bathroom is downstairs at the back. This meant navigating the very steep stairs at night in the dark which we weren’t happy for our young children to do. The 3rd bedroom is downstairs but next to the front door, which I also didn’t feel happy for our children to sleep in. So it made sleeping arrangements challenging.

Value for money! 10/10

The bedrooms were bright & airy! Loved how close the property was to shops, restaurants & pubs. The streets were silent & always had parking outside.

The stairs were rather steep, we did have some guest that had injured their legs & struggled to get up the stairs but the stay was fab!
