A wonderful place, we extended our stay, and I think of it still. 😍
10.0Location wonderful. Garden stream with resident heron. Very peaceful. Spacious accommodation - great size bedrooms, and lovely fireplace in lounge. Fabulous kitchen. Very well stocked. Aga if you like that sort of thing. Back door boot room for wellies. Lovely friendly helpful housekeeper.

Stunning classic cottage with a home from home feel
9.0Stunning classic cottage in a beautiful location. Surroundings were exceptional. Limited WiFi and no phone signal was a positive for us. Cot, high chair, washing machine, tumble dryer - all made it feel like a home from home and perfect for walkers as the river and local walks were beautiful. Feather bedding and pillows were lovely although one of us has a feather allergy which made for some bed-cover jigging.
− Only two toilet rolls for 6 people for a 5 day stay but totally ok given everything else made available. One of the beds was just too soft as it was an old spring bed - Beautiful but a bit back breaking for us. The driveway is steep and uneven so low cars might have trouble with access.
