10.0A very beautiful place, wonderful view of the city, fantastic location, very clean, very nice owner. If I were to return to Akureyri, I would definitely stay at the same place.

Perfekte Unterkunft mit traumhaftem Ausblick, sehr zu empfehlen
10.0Die Lage des Hauses ist traumhaft im Grünen am Bach, ruhig, tolle Aussicht, nur kurze Fahrt in die nächste Stadt. Das Haus selbst ist klein aber fein, alles drin was man braucht, auch für mehrere Übernachtungen. Die Terrasse lädt zum Verweilen ein und man kann herrliche Sonnenuntergänge beobachten. Die Vermieter waren sehr freundlich, wohnen im Haus nebenan und man kann sie für Fragen gut kontaktieren. Zur Begrüßung gab es sogar Süßes und frische Eier, da fühlten wir uns sehr willkommen. Ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt, wir kommen gerne wieder.

Idyllic location, beautiful cabin, perfect hosts
10.0An amazing cabin with excellent hosts in the perfect location! The cabin was warm, comfortable and exceptionally clean and well equipped. We found it to be the perfect 'home from home' to return to after a day's exploring. There was more than enough space for the two of us. The outdoor veranda gave amazing views of the fjord and Akureyri, and also the airport runway! We found the location to be ideal for us quiet but not remote; a quick 5 minute or so drive to the Forest Lagoon and Akureyri where we particularly enjoyed exploring the old town and local public pool. Further afield, we were able to visit Godafoss, Lake Myvatn, and Husavik quite easily using our rental car. To top it all off, our hosts, Arni and Petra were amazing- friendly and informative but by no means intrusive (and the fresh eggs provided for us were delicious and much appreciated!). Beautiful towels, shower gel, hand lotion were also provided; washing up liquid for dish cleaning, washing powder for the washing machine (an excellent bonus!); and a full size fridge freezer to pop our shopping supplies from Kronan in! All in all, a perfect stay.
− Nothing- although we would have preferred 2 pillows each for sleeping, but that's just personal preference!
