5.0Location is great for a peaceful break, lots of places to go within 30 min car journey Enclosed side flagged garden area with hot tub. Car parking bay The kitchen had everything you would generally need. Shower water pressure is great Dog friendly cabin and the site is very dog friendly with a large enclosed dog paddock, lots of walks, etc
− Cleanliness was a huge issue, had to clean before I could settle, needs a really good top to bottom scrub and a re fresh of all cushions and throws and bedding, towels looked nice fresh and clean. The garden area needs a sweep, and the artificial plants need chucking. It just needs some care putting into it. It felt like the bare minimum was being done.

8.0Its a lovely lodge, clean and hot tub was fab, can bluetooth music to it which my kids loved.
− Nothing against the lodge... but the site has nothing to do and the restaurant is very expensive and a long walk away.
Terrible
1.0− The lodge was very dirty. Dirty bed sheets and all surfaces felt sticky. I had to clean them before we could use anything. The outdoor area next to the hot tub was covered in leave and stones not state for children walking to get into the hot tub. When we opened the hot tub it had flies floating inside and then the temperature dropped so was not useable. Very disappointed we left the next morning.

− Booked this place for my little boys birthday and if we hadn't drove so far and arrived so late, we would have left there and then. The place was absolutely filthy, we walked in the radiator in the living room was leaking. Plates had been put back in the cupboard dirty. The water in the cabin ran brown and the drains in the bathroom sink and bath were both blocked. There was only what could be described as bodily fluids on the curtains in the main bedroom. The carpets had not been hoovered and we found finger nails at the edge of the carpet in the bedroom! The throw in the sitting room smelt of alcohol and clearly had not been washed. This place needs major work completing and a very deep clean.

− The Lodge wasn't very clean. We had a smell coming up from the toilet No table apart from a breakfast bar. We had booked for over Xmas end from previous experience assumed there would be a dining table Lodge needed some TLC
