Fantastisch huis met adembenemend uitzicht

We hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad in Casa Pizzido. Het uitzicht is adembenemend mooi! Op elk moment van de dag is het heerlijk om te genieten van het uitzicht, vanaf de loungebank, vanaf de tuintafel, de buitenkeuken, het zwembad en de ligstoelen! Overal waar je kijkt zie je de prachtige bergen en het landschap. Het huis is van alle gemakken voorzien, 3 mooie grote slaapkamers en een complete keuken. Ook de bbq hebben we veel gebruikt, ook weer genietend van het mooie uitzicht! In de omgeving is veel te doen, Cefalu is mooi en vol heerlijke restaurantjes, vele mooie stranden rondom Cefalu en ook een groot boomklimpark of Palermo op een uurtje rijden. Het contact met Tine ging heel fijn en soepel, we hebben ons erg welkom gevoeld en zouden zo terug gaan!

The location of the property is absolutely beautiful with mountain views. We unexpectedly arrived in the early hours of the morning due to flight cancellations and then delays but communication with the hosts was superb. They were flexible and understanding and gave excellent instructions on how to get the keys. We also had a lovely welcome pack waiting for us. The property was very clean and comfortable, with a lovely outside seating/cooking area. It had everything we needed! Campofelice di Roccella had a couple of places to eat and drink and about an 8 min drive away. A 15 minute drive to Cefalu which was so pretty to walk around, as well as try the cannola! We got the train to Palermo which was so easy and a great day trip. Top tip: take mosquito repellent as throughout our stay we were bitten whilst in Sicily - when we were in Palermo the chemist was busy with tourists experiencing the same and looking for anti-histamine cream!

Casa is very well equipped not only with the essentials but a lot more, kitchenware than you would expect. The house is well-maintained and super clean. The layout is very good, to accommodate 2 families of 4. The beds are very comfortable. If you like cooking house is like heaven with an external kitchen and beautiful views. A large table outside is a cherry on the icing that will allow you and the family to enjoy every meal. Two bathrooms were great since we were 2 families with 4 children in total. A swimming pool outside is a great addition to keep children occupied and entertaining. The location gives you maximum privacy with beautiful views. A short drive from the town but you need a car. As a family, we travel a lot and have been to a few places by now including high-end accommodation. Location, cleanliness, views, pool, privacy and the external kitchen make this house far better than any 5-star hotel if you enjoy cooking as much as eating. The hosts are lovely and very welcoming. Very rarely if ever we are back to the same places as there are still so many new places to be seen. In this case, we agreed that we would be back as we had one of the best times we had as a family.

We spent a very nice time at Casa Pizzido. The hosts were really caring and remained available during our stay. The villa itself is in very good state and is very spacious (with several outside spaces and a pool). The outdoor kitchen was the cherry on top to us! It has many kitchen utensils as well, which enabled us to organise some nice meals when we were at the villa. Regarding the location, it is at the same time in a remote place (so very calm) and near a town, hence connected to supermarkets and main highway - having a car being mandatory though. Again many thanks for this charming stay. We highly recommend the property!

The property was in a great mountain location, private. The beds were very comfortable and there were plenty of areas to sit. The outside kitchen area and the BBQ were of a high standard. The pool was very refreshing and well maintained. The views were breath taking.

− There was no dishwasher and limited inside kitchen counter space. The different outside areas were great but the flies, wasps, hornets and mosquitoes forced us inside way to many times. To enclose the patio and outside kitchen area with screens would be highly recommended. A shaded area or a better umbrellla in the back by the pool would also be a plus.
