Supermarket, pharmacy, ATM, huge board game family bar in 1 min walk, beach and 2 beach bars nearby (3 min walking), big front yard, WI-FI (!), built-in grill under the roof. This spot is way easier to get to than the southern part of the town. Giuseppe always available and ready to help. We mostly didn’t need any help—everything in the house works like a charm. And if something doesn’t turn on right away, just find the right switch on the wall. For anyone visiting Costa Rei for the first time—just a heads-up, the outlets there are a bit unusual. There’s one adapter in the house, and you can grab more at any local supermarket. The local ingredients are incredibly fresh and flavorful—and somehow, they even seem to help you lose weight and feel better. That goes for the local wine and beer too. Btw, the tastiest meat is from the roadside butcher at the town’s entrance, and the best all-natural veggies come from a farmer near the southern edge—but make sure to cook them right away, since they’re untreated and don’t keep for long

− The kitchen was tiny—really just enough for one person and not meant for actual cooking—but who am I kidding? Most of us did just fine grilling outside, and honestly, it was perfect.
