Private, comforts cottage in Chianti Classico area
10.0The beds were comfortable; the location was private; we liked that it’s dog friendly with a fenced yard; it was nice to have four bedrooms and two full bathrooms; the fireplace in the living room was great! Also, Niccolo left us a very nice welcome gift fitting of the New Year holiday!
− The living room furniture could use an update (it was not the most comfortable) and the property was a bit hard to find (there are three options, if you take the “direct wine sales” route or the next street up you will be fine).
Nice house, well equipped with shared pool
8.0very nice house, well located in a quiet place on a hill in the Chianti area. The house was very clean and very well equipped. The owner Niccolò was always reachable and helpful. You can walk (10min) to a restaurant in Sicelle (take the path on the right just after the gate, do not follow google maps) or to the one in Piazza in about 25min.
− Mosquito curtains would be nice as there are many mosquitos. The beds were quite hard for my liking and you have to know that you share the pool with the agriturismo Borgo Montecastelli (4 houses), you have to walk some narrow stairs to the access the pool and the neighbours make you park your car outside the agriturismo although there would be enough space (you can park in front to load and unload only), which can be annoying with small children.
