The pool, the interior design, comfy beds.

− The layout, appreciate you can’t do anything about this but maybe a walk through video would help other guests (we received a link to a utube video for another property we booked which was helpful). Some of the photos didn’t seem to match (for example I don’t remember the screens on the upper outside levels). To be honest we didn’t like the smell of the farm but appreciate this was mentioned in the information. Also we feel the approach to the property let it down but appreciate you can’t do anything about this. The sofa bed down stairs was broken which caused us a problem on the first night but this was fixed next day.

- v clean - well maintained, tastefully decorated, modern. - nice pool area with BBQ facilities and small fridge - washing machine and clothes horse - powerful hairdrier - smart tv - spacious kitchen/living and terrace which highlights the unique watchtower - all rooms spacious and very nice individually - good communication with property manager, helpful and polite - tranquil village - Baron Homes always have consistently a high quality properties

− - 2 main areas were v far apart; pool area on ground floor and kitchen/living dining on 3rd floor in a separate annex. We felt like we had to pick an area to set up in for the day so you're not really utilising the whole property to its full potential - access to the main upper area is via narrow open spiral staircase then outside and on another level; awkward to carry grocery bags up. The choice of location for the main area makes sense from a design perspective but in terms of practicality we found it a bit (lot) of a pain. - ground floor bedroom shares wall with animal shed next door; could hear animals moving around at night and smell came in bedroom (tolerable, but noticeable. Imagine it would be v strong in summer.) Animals were not vocally noisy though so no problems there. The lower bedroom is best suited for children in terms of lack of stairs but you'd not hear them from the main living area if they called out due to the layout - cars cannot go all the way up the alley to the property, bringing heavy/bulky bags (luggage/groceries) it is a bit tricky as the path/alley is uneven. - bit heavy on the "Fines" notices eg stained towels would incur a fine; the bathmats, and handtowels provided were white, which is obviously the most dirtyable colour - property was very well kept and each room was very nice however the entirety didn't quite work for us so we wouldn't opt to stay in this particular property again. For the price, we would prefer somewhere with more convenient overall layout/parking/smell as those are things that you will experience all throughout every day of the stay. Would definitely choose another Baron Home property though as they're always very well kept, regardless of personal preferences

The place was clean and staff was efficient

− The place is next to a farm so when sitting outside next to the pool there is a nasty smell, there are also cats that kept coming to smell our food whilst having lunch outside, parking is limited, the kitchen is in a room on the roof so to make a coffee you have to walk outside the building and therefore you are away from the rest of the family members. No dishwasher was available.
