More than a place to stay—it was a place to belong.
10.0Our stay at Orsini was truly one of the highlights of our trip to Italy. From the moment we booked, Flora went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. She helped arrange taxi reservations, assisted with dinner reservations, provided church schedules, and was always available to answer questions. Her kindness, responsiveness, and genuine care for her guests made our stay stress-free and memorable. The apartment was spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed. The kitchenette was perfect and had all the essentials for preparing meals and snacks. We especially appreciated having a hair dryer, iron, and ironing board available. The bedrooms were extremely comfortable, and the beds provided a wonderful night’s sleep after long days of exploring. The shower had amazing water pressure, and the towels deserve a special mention—they were incredibly soft, large, and luxurious. It felt like a spa experience every time we returned. Breakfast was wonderful and generously stocked with yogurt, cereal, coffee, tea, honey, milk, juices, croissants, and our favorite—Nutella! Everything was thoughtfully prepared and made our mornings easy and enjoyable. The Wi-Fi worked perfectly throughout our stay, and we appreciated being able to log into our own streaming accounts on the television and relax with a movie in the evenings. One thing future guests should know is that Benevento is a beautiful historic city with original stone streets and walkways that add to its charm and character. My husband uses a cane, and we found the city very walkable and easy to navigate. We comfortably walked to restaurants, churches, shops, and historic sites, and never needed a car. What made this visit truly special, however, was the warmth of the people of Benevento. Everywhere we went, we were met with kindness, patience, and genuine hospitality.
