Wunderschön im Grünen und doch nah zur Großstadt

Ein wunderschönes kleines Häuschen im Grünen, geschmackvoll ausgestattet und mit allem, was unser Herz begehrte. Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeber, aufgrund der geringen Entfernung zur Metro ideal, um Rotterdam und Umgebung zu erkunden. Der Garten ist inzwischen sehr schön zugewachsen und ein Moskitonetz um das Bett hält die Stechmücken ab, sollte es wegen der kleinen Kanäle welche geben (wir hatten keine).

Absolutely adored this property! Carola met us at the gate when we arrived and gave us a little tour, as well as some complimentary drinks. The property was so cosy and comfortable, truly lived in and makes you feel right at home straight away while still having that bit of holiday luxury about it. The bathroom is absolutely stunning, and the heated floors throughout are absolute bliss, even in the warmer weather we had during our stay, especially for someone like me who suffers from Reynaud's. The kitchen is compact but has everything you need, including a dishwasher which is always a relief! The Metro is only a 10 minute walk away, and the nearest major supermarket was about 20 minutes. There are also a few food options 5 minutes walk away, so it is really well situated despite how peaceful and isolated it feels. This was all particularly useful for us as we stayed here to visit family in Capelle aan den IJssel, so it was just two stops on the Metro to Capelle Centrum, and if we'd borrowed bikes from our relatives we could have easily cycled there. The only thing that really caught me out - and Carola did warn us - was how quickly the hot water for the shower ran out. It really does only last about 10 minutes, so be prepared to be quick! I possibly also could have done with a step stool for the bathroom basin, but the Dutch are tall people and I am very much not, so that was more of a me problem. My Indo-Dutch husband found it perfect!

Geen standaard appartement, in positieve zin. Vooral geschikt voor mensen die van rust en natuur houden. Alles was boven gemiddeld, helemaal top! Vooral het privé terras aan het water en het metrostation op loopafstand zijn geweldig.

Tout était parfait ! À commencer par la propriétaire Carlota qui est pleine de petites attentions et la chaleur humaine aujourd'hui c'est important ! Si vous venez vous découvrirez une petite maison charmante avec tout le confort moderne dans un jardin extraordinaire ceinturé d'un petit canal où les cygnes viennent vous saluer le matin ...avec une adresse dans un quartier résidentiel, au top pour vous imprégner de Rotterdam qui est une très belle découverte.

Cudowny mały domek w pięknym, zadbanym ogrodzie nad kanałem. Gospodarze to przemili, uczynni ludzie. Magiczny czas, którego nie zapomnimy. Miejsce wyjątkowe , jak jego właściciele. Bardzo dziękujemy 🫶
