Easy access to the beach, huge rooms upstairs, items for use in the kitchen, the covered decking area at the back, the outdoor shower and proximity to the shops were all great.

− The beds in the rooms downstairs were SO squeaky.

Loved Pauanui but will be looking for somewhere to stay next time

Great location and handy to have 4 bedrooms and a outside shower

− There’s a long list. But for the amount they charge there were too many problems. No coffee machine as advertised but no plunger either, TV doesn’t work, very squeaky bed, BBQ didn’t heat up, a tonne of huge spider webs in outside deck, no laundry basket, rotten hamper in bathroom the list goes on. The owners need to stay at the Bach for a week to see what needs maintenance. Also very large wasps nest in tree in backyard We also had people come inside the property to look at the TV while no one adult was home and children upstairs without anyone telling us. We only knew as things had been moved around so felt very intrusive. Just over priced for what we got

Would definitely book the property again.

Perfect location within walking distance of shops and estuary/surf beach. Sheltered decks, front and back, with views to a small equestrian paddock from back deck. Nice beachy vibe.

− Noisy neighbours at night (subsequently advised new owners recently taken possession of adjacent property). Hopefully property owners/managers can have a chat to them to rectify the problem. Beds were 'squeaky' but no major deterrent.
