Dusty and Dirty : our nightmare in Ohakune

− We strongly advise against renting this house. It is extremely dirty, and the equipment, as evident in the pictures below, is in poor condition. The washing machine is non-functional, and the wifi is highly unstable. The garden outside the property also had some garbage (empty beer packs…). We even found a dirty cap behind the couch (?!). The carpet is smelling bad / dust, and the list goes on. Despite our attempts to complain and leave, the agency managing this property (Bachcare) proved to be utterly useless and disorganized. One glaring example: they offered to perform extra cleaning to address the mess, but no one ever showed up. Don't waste your holiday – choose another place.
Close to the centre of Ohakune, clean and decent place to stay.
