Memorable stay at the edge of the island
10.0Quinta do Oeste was our last-night stay at Terceira island before heading home. I booked it without expecting anything exceptional, just wanting to stay in the West of the island which we hadn't visited before. It exceeded all our expectations. Manuela - the amazing host - met us to give us the keys, show the house, and tell us a bit about its interesting history. Quinta do Oeste turned out bigger than I had expected, with nice spacious rooms and large living area. It had all the facilities we needed for our last day at Terceira. I admired the work that was put into the house interior: high-quality artworks and artefacts from the days past provided a very genuine vibe to the place and left a lasting impression. Lastly, from the terrace in front of the house we could see a beautiful stretch of the pastures and the ocean. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others!

Very welcoming, helpful and generous Hostess, great to have so much space.
9.0Great hostess, provided us with a gift basket of food we ate for breakfast a few mornings plus a small bottle of bee spirit to try and a soft cover book to take home. Quiet area, right on the main road, easy access. Well kept home with lots of space.
− The last morning there was a relatively short power outage but the WIFI did not come back on. We could not figure out how to use the gas stove.

10.0The home was very comfortable and clean and well-stocked with everything needed. The owner met us with a very nice welcome basket, including wonderful homemade brownies. We wound up making friends with the owners and really felt more like guests than customers. Absolutely top-notch place to stay.

10.0Manuela is by far the best host we have ever had. She was so thoughtful, she even left small gifts for everyone and helped us with amazing recommendations The house is very clean and the view is fantastic. The location is ideal for someone looking for a peaceful retreat, beautiful ocean view and the house has everything you need. We will definitly look forward to coming back.

8.0The location of the house is good and close to many places on the island, the host was very helpful.
− We plan to spend 3 days at this beautiful island, but our fly was canceled (because the weather conditions) and we spend only one night on this nice island. May be next time we will have more luck.
