Historical house in the city centre
9.0The house was charming. It was adapted to the modern day whilst trying to maintain the past at hand. It was styled beautifully. Yes, it’s a slightly dark space but this was crucial to beating the hot days of summer in the past - using only natural materials. We loved the natural curves and warm fired terracotta under our feet. The bonus of a roof terrace for a sunny morning coffee was unbeatable.

Disappointing
4.0Excellent position in the centre of the town
− The second room is in the upper floor, connected to the ground floor through an extremely steep staircase with a very high steps, while toilet and shower are in the ground floor. This should be mentioned in the description of the apartment and may cause serious problems to customers needing to use the toilet at night . The ground floor is quite dark, getting very little light from the street. Another main problem is the absence of any kind of ventilation in the toilet that has no window and no air aspiration system.
A traditional Portuguese house, which is the biggest plus for me!
10.0Great contact with the owner of the house. She was very friendly, responds to messages very quickly and always very helpful! Thank you Margarida for your kindness! The house is very traditional, which enhances the feeling that you are really in Portugal. Very quiet area and close to the centre on foot. Parking is available very close to the house and for free.
