Amazing cabin and great owners!
10.0Staying at Merrynook was truly an exceptional experience. This warm and cozy cabin near the giant sequoias comes with all the amenities you need. Right from the start there is the amazing artwork created by the owner on every wall. In addition, a vast collection of books like I have ever seen in a rental! The kitchen offers all the tools we needed, as we cooked every night. Bedrooms have comfortable beds and linens. The bathroom is large with a fabulous clawfoot tub. The garden with local fauna is artistic and whimsical. Highly recommended for a peaceful stay in the mountains!

Contemplative mountain retreat bordering Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Parks
10.0This place is a throwback that invites you to relax, take in the scenery, and read a book. It puts you in a perfect mood for a trip to the nearby national parks. There is no TV. There are hundreds of pieces of art, big and small, and just as many books to browse, coupled with cozy reading nooks in every room. The front and back patios and even the laundry room complete the feeling of being surrounded by art. The house is also extremely comfortable and quiet.
This was a very good location to relax and visit Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Parks.

10.0This place was great. Beds were comfy, the house and super cute with crafty decorations all around. There was two bedrooms and a third small room with a bed on the floor. All of them were comfortable. It was very close to the park entrance, about 15-20 min drive. The host was very kind and helpful for anything we might need. The kitchen was fully stocked very well with pots, utensils of every kind, condiments, spices, oil etc. We really enjoyed our stay. It was great for the four of us with two adults and two kids. Could have easily fit at least two more with a pullout sofa bed too.

9.0The location is amazing and the location allows you to easy enter and visit the national parks. The house is just perfect, cozy environment, clean and with comfortable beds. The host is super kind and always there to reply to any question. We highly recommend this place!
