Wow, Casita do Cantinho exceeded our expectations in every way. We feel so fortunate to have stayed here during our visit. Pre-trip email comms from the owners were fantastic and greatly appreciated. We felt welcomed even before we arrived. On arrival, owners Lestor and Susane greeted us on-site to provide keys and to show us the casita and grounds -- again a warm welcome. The casita is, as others have noted, beautiful inside and outside. The grounds and surrounding area are quiet, rural and so beautiful. The bedroom is perfectly sized and comfy. The kitchen, dining area, living area, and bathroom are also quite adequately sized, nicely decorated, and comfortable. The short nature trail on the property shows how the owners care for the natural beauty and bounty of the land. How wonderful to sit near the beehive and watch the bees come and go! The natural beauty of the property, the wonderful view of the ocean, and the warm hospitality shown us during our stay...well, it is all quite incredible. We will most definitely stay here on future visits to Santa Maria, and would gladly recommend the same to friends and family. Thanks Lestor, Susana, and Casita do Cantinho! You Rock! See you another time.

Nestor and Susanna are terrific hosts, and the accommodations are excellent. It is the most quiet and beautiful place.

Truly a paradise house for a tranquil vacation

This is really a paradise house - it is so peaceful and quiet in there and the views are amazing. It feels like you are alone in the world - life changing experience. The house is very stylish and well-equipped with all the necessities. You have a large territory coming together with the house, including forest, terrace, view points. The drive to the nearest beach takes about 10 minutes and to the city is around 15 minutes. The hosts are very welcoming and willing to help with any questions/requests.

I cannot say enough great things about the Casita - Cantinho do Paraiso!!! 10 out of 10! I would live there forever if I could! The house is absolutely beautiful and the surroundings are breathtaking. Your own little slice of paradise in Santa Maria. My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights and it truly was magical. The home, the views, the sunsets, the forest, the donkeys, the stars at night! Don't think, just book it! They have a Villa also that sleeps 4, we are already talking about coming back next year and bringing the kids. Susana and Nestor, thank you for being wonderful hosts too, so incredibly kind and helpful! We will see you again!
