Amazing hosts, Wonderful cottage, Perfect stay outside the city
10.0Our stay at Smedjan was wonderful. We were warmly greeted by our hosts, Kerstin & Johan, who were honestly the best hosts we've ever encountered during our stays around the world. They provided us with tons of information about the area, including walking trails, the closest town with shops, and some history about where would we be staying. The cottage itself was amazing and had all the modern finishes one would expect, while still feeling cozy inside. It appeared recently renovated and came fully equipped with anything a traveller would need for a stay outside from the city (eg. spices, bags, kitchen appliances, etc.). Additionally, when one person in our group became ill during our stay, our hosts went out of their way to provide additional supplies and delay our check out time. We are forever grateful to them for their compassion and flexibility. We would not hesitate to stay with Kerstin & Johan again and look forward to the time when we can return!

10.0Beautiful and modern cottage. Our stay was extremely comfortable, we were provided with all the necessities for a grill night!
− It's a bit far from civilization but we were prepared. The bathing spot however was a bit lackluster even though it was very pretty. However, we didn't know there was one, it was just a bonus

10.0Wonderfull and relaxing surroundings. Very friendly hosts showing you around the area if preferred to fully enjoy the nature. the Cottage itself is super with all things you require is thought after in every little detail. Would recommend it for sure 👍
