Exceptional
10.0The room was comfortable and homey. The lodge (kitchen and living room) felt as if you were staying in a friend's home. While we didn't utilize them, there were barbecues and picnic tables out front, and fire pits on the beach (right across the street). DirecTV available, plus an assortment of movies available to watch. Cute little red squirrels, hummingbirds just on the other side of the glass windows, and eagles as well as other wildlife in the trees and waterways. The perfect location - between the lake and downtown. The cherry on top, though, was Katy, the caretaker! A bundle of exuberant energy; a new lifelong friend!
− The only thing we didn't like was having to leave! We will definitely be back!!
Pretty place to get away from it all
8.0Beautiful views of Lynn Canal, walking along the pebble beach in front and watching the brown bears fish on the Chilkoot River. The accommodation in Suite 1 was comfortable.
− The property is 3 miles from town. This is not a problem and is even walkable. Jax the Lyft driver took us everywhere.
Wonderful suite, but verify that the room temperature will allow you to sleep and enjoy yourself.
5.0Large suite was very well equipped but VERY cold and the room temperature could not be adjusted.
− We were VERY cold. Even by stripping blankets off the unused bed, we had a very uncomfortable night. This room has in-floor heating which had been set for 60F. That's cold for many seniors, and signs posted advised that it took more than 1 day to raise the room temperature. Why offer such a nice suite, for $300 Cd, per night, without installing a heater or AC unit that could be adjusted? Staff were NOT on site after 8 PM.

10.0The spaciousness of the room. The view was amazing. The bed was comfortable. Everything was clean. And it was nice having access to the common area if we so chose.
