Good location but the house is old and dated.
5.0Great location and spacious.
− House and its contents/amenities are old and dated. Lack of finer details like fire lighters and a lighter to start the braai. Braai is nice a big but the grid is bent, old and rusty. It’s good to note that upstairs only has 3 bedrooms with the 4th being a separate apartment/flatlet downstairs. Our friends felt a bit removed from the rest of the group as they had to stay downstairs. Things like the coffee machine are old, and for the price you charge for the house (north of R5000), you really could invest in a newer machine I can suggest a Nespresso one. That way it’s easy for guests to buy the right pods to use. Overall wasn’t such a great stay, which is a pity as Yzerfontein is beautiful and the house has so much potential. It’s time for the owner to invest some money in upgrading it!
