− Joitain astioita, kuten kahvilusikoita ja viinilaseja, oli niukasti. Melko paljon oli ruokakaappiin jätetty aiempien asukkaiden ruokatarvikkeita, mutta heitimme osan pois saadaksemme tilaa omille.

The location is amazing and the hosts helpful & responsive. The villa is fine, it has pretty much everything you need and most things work. It's super quiet but also really close to town, location hard to better for convenience -everything in easy walking distance.

− We've stayed in lots of cabins in Finland over the years and booked this place quite late. It is reasonably priced compared to other places we've stayed and I think it's because it's fine, but not outstanding. Some of the furniture is a little tired, peeling vinyl on an armchair and the leg fell off my husband's bed when he tried to move it out of a draft. You are expected to clean before you leave, including the fire place, but the hearth brush was almost hairless and there was no metal ash can though we were told there should be one on the porch. All we found was an old casserole dish with some frozen food in it. presumably left by a previous guest and not noticed before handover. The front door has a real knack to opening (push, unlock, then pull - reverse this when going out) so some instruction would have been helpful, we were concerned we might not be able to get out if there was a fire and there was no obvious way to open the windows to get out either. Instructions in general are lacking - we never did find a way to turn on the lights under the kitchen cupboards, I could have messaged and I'm sure they would have replied but I didn't want to be a nuisance. The rooms are drafty, whether the cabin has got old and the insulation in the joints is breaking down, I don't know - it was exceptionally cold outside while we were there - -27 , and you could feel cold air coming in through the walls, not a howling gale but enough of a draft to be chilly. They do supply plenty of firewood and the heating all works though, and there are extra blankets on the sofas. There's no wifi but the 5G is excellent and you can hotspot your phone if you've got enough data to do so. Finally, my husband got an electric shock from the upstairs light switch but they told is this was due to static and normal, but do take care when you use it.

It was a pleasure to stay at this property.

Nice little log cabin, great location, only one toilet which was a pain with 7 people otherwise it was good accommodatio
