Great location, lovely cottage, welcoming, so what more do you need than great weather thrown in :-)
10.0The owner was extremely friendly & helpful. There was a lovely collection of food and drink to help get us started and plenty of ideas of where to go & how to get to places. We enjoyed one of his recommended eateries (Langtry Lane) so much that we went back again! The bins were cleared and fresh towels provided every day. He offered to drive us to the station on our day out to Belfast and collect in the evening if we fancied having a drink as well :-) The location is so pretty and quiet and well located for driving off around the country.
Quaint, original country cottage with everything you need!
10.0The owner met us upon arrival to provide the keys and gave us a tour of the cottage. I immediately noticed small touches such as fresh cut flowers in vases placed around the cottage and much to our surprise an abundance of breakfast foods, bread, cereal, fruit, coffee/tea, milk, etc. This was a welcome surprise because we had been driving all day! We also liked the washer in the cottage and the owner showed us how to use it and where to hang the clothes on the line (which is common in No. Ireland). Because it was rather cold and rainy, the clothes did not completely dry and we were so grateful and surprised that while we were out, the owner had run them through his dryer and folded them, leaving them in a basket near our door. So sweet. Turned out we spent some time talking to the owner and learned the history of the property and the area around Moira. He is a very nice man and we would return just to see him! He lives on the property in another building and is helpful yet not intrusive. We enjoyed our stay in his quaint cottage.
− Wished I had visited in the summer as it is apparent there is a beautiful wild flower garden around the cottage that I would have enjoyed seeing.
Great and relaxing.
9.0Top location, in nature but close to the town. Great host. All mod cons. A house with history and charm.
− As with every old house there were a few spiders on the go.

The house of owls and bicycles! You’ll understand when you stay there . Lol. It’s a little remote but, just close enough
10.0Such a homely vibe! Clean and warm. Loved it!❤️
− The downside wasn’t a downside in the end in terms of distance from the bus stop or train station because Ray was so awesome in taking us to those spots. Love him!
