The family who manages this property is just lovely and helpful. They were super attentive to our requests. The place is about 15min walk from town centre, close to lots of local restaurants. There are 2 bed rooms, one with a double bed and one with 4 bunk beds. Washroom is newly renovated and super nice.

− The kitchen could be better equipped. Our stovetop didn’t work, but the family kindly allowed us to use their outdoor kitchen just outside of the apartment. I’m not sure if it’s due to ventilation but our living room always had this mouldy/wet towel smell that we can’t get rid of. Also lots of ants in the bedrooms.

The staff was helpful. We requested someone to cook our meals, a big group of 17. Jomar was an excellent cook.

Huge!! 3 bedrooms with comfortable king beds in each! Good showers and hot water. They let us use the outdoor washing machine and line to do our laundry for free. Hostess arranged all our tours. I was even able to save my cash by using Wise account to send her the money. She got excellent local deals for us such as tours which included transportation to and from the activity! Location is not on the water but walking distance from the main street. If u look at a map it is right by the McDonalds. Very quiet. AC worked great and two room and so so in the master. Full kitchen with dishes and appliances was nice. Water cooler with purified water hot or cold was super nice!

− Not really a negative, but be aware that the Location required a bit of walking but it was not a problem. Cheap tricycles were everywhere and available. The peace and quiet and privacy made it a worthwhile stay!

By far the best thing was the host who was very helpful, friendly, attentive and lives on site too. She arranged all our tours for us as well as pick up from ferry and transfer back to airport. The location was great and quiet, out of the hustle and bustle but only a 10 min walk to main town. It's right around the corner from McDonalds where lots of TukTuks wait to do lifts and is an easy reference point to get back to. Also convenience stores and some restaurants nearby. The place itself is spacious and the beds comfortable. A water cooler and drinking water provided was a nice bonus. Value for money was insane for our family of 5, which is why we chose it.

− Objectively the house is very basic and tired but so is a lot of Coron unless you stay in a high-end resort for much greater cost. We had 2 air cons not working properly which weren't fixed for the first 2 days (because it's the weekend and an engineer wasn't available - Coron is still a developing town) but managed ok with fans. We had issues with tiny ants in the main living areas and one bedroom for which the only solution seemed to be to offer us ant spray. Lighting either too dull or too bright, not ambient at all. It was cheap and did the job comfortably enough, but if I was deciding again, I'd spend more to stay next level of accommodation up.
