One of my best solo vacations by far.
10.0I enjoyed the area, it was in a great location. Walking distance to the beach. Stores and restaurants near by. Hosts were friendly and helpful. Trolley available from local beach to go to other beaches. I liked the outdoor kitchen also.

1.0− No one there on arrival. When we called the contact number on our booking confirmation, the owner said that he had not been advised of our booking and would not come out that night. He would call us in the morning. We booked into a hotel and contacted Booking.com who then proceeded to cancel the booking entirely leaving us with no accommodation.
Devastation in the area limited us from getting something else!
1.0Close to our church and favorite thrift shop
− Pretty much everything! We had to go all the way around the house to get to our outside kitchenette/accommodation. No sidewalk or pathway. The pool and hot tub were not available unless you paid $23.00/day. Very small camp-style refrigerator in the bedroom. Had to use ice chests for much of our food and keep ice in them. Were not allowed to have guests.Only 2 of everything( dishes, silverware). 1 bedroom (very dimly lit)and bath. The warm water didn't get hot for 5 minutes.

1.0The only thing good, maybe the neighbourhood was nice
− First of all: you can’t walk to Indian rocks beach!!! Unless you love to walk on the road for one hour under the burning sun. This place is far from the beach and you still need a car to get there. Second: it’s not the entire place that you have access, it’s just a dark room with a small bathroom in the owners house, and the worst part is that to get access you have to walk from the back yard on the dark! Very very dangerous! If that wasn’t enough you have a cold shower from the sprinklers as a bonus whenever you try to get in or out. The pool was very dirty and we never used that. There is not a kitchen in the room, just a tiny fridge and a microwave.
It was the perfect escape from the cold in the northeast during January/February.
10.0The accommodation was as wonderful as described. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and very private. Having use of the patio area was a special bonus. Especially appreciated was the special care the hosts took in providing extra amenities such as linen service, cooking provisions, parking, tips on things to do in the area as well as wonderful, friendly conversation. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a peaceful getaway in an excellent location for walking in parks, shopping, restaurants as well as close proximity to a wonderful, uncrowded beach!
Lovely place to stay
10.0Lovely little place to relax in and not far from the beach if you want to go for a walk. We had a lovely relaxing time Irvin and Debra are very welcoming
