Great place with an exceptional view of the pier, up and above the hubbub of Lorne.

The view was spectacular, we could watch the pier to pub race and check out the surf from the balcony. The bathrooms were fresh and spacious and the kitchen was OK. The downstairs games area was also pretty cool for the teenagers and for some fun on the pool table. BBQ was good and the balcony was great to enjoy a wine or a meal while watching the surf. The location was also a bit above and away from the craziness of Lorne, but close enough to enjoy a bike ride to the pier and challenge the quads back up the hill.

− The scent that was used to mask the musty smell gave my wife a headache and stopped her from using the lower level for the length of the stay.

New renovated bathrooms and view of beach

− No condiments, such as tea or coffee provided. Linen not provided and not clearly stated that you need to bring you own or you will have to pay. Kitchen outdated and mix matched of plates, glassware and cutlery. 1 tea towel provided and expired sauces. Fireplace upstairs not working. Outside decking area dated and covered in spider webs as if no one had been there or the place hadn't been cleaned. Upon arrival outside table was covered with black tarp. Not worth value for money.

Good position, property was shabby for the price with no heatings downstairs. No linen or towels.

No breakfast supplied. Location was good. View was good.

− The cost of the property was a bit much for what you got. It was rundown and looked shabby. We could not use the downtairs area with the pool table because there was no heating down there, which made it far too cold.. Bed sheets or towels were not supplied. These should have been included fror the price paid. The main ducted heating was not working and the wood fire look alike was not working either.
