As you can tell, I really enjoyed my stay!
10.0The place is run by the very nice and helpful Filipino/German couple Marevic (Marie) and Uwe. They will help you in organising everything from a day trip to Cresta De Gallo (for 3500 pesos as of March 2024) to the transfer back to Magdiwang if you have to catch a ferry to leave this spectacular yet relaxed island. Two well equipped and modern bungalows in a beautiful garden make you instantly feel home away from home. Marevic handles everything food related and Uwe is the facility manager. Even if there is a brownout on the island: no worries, solar powered batteries will take care of the situation. So you will never be long without light - or Wi-Fi… 😉 Don’t forget to try the homemade icecream. My favourite was Ube (some slightly salty sort of beetroot in a deep purple colour). The continental breakfast is delicious and after weeks of instant coffee I especially enjoyed the filter coffee. The bread with jam was also very nice. My favourite for dinner was the tasty burger. The meals can either be enjoyed on your own patio or in a bamboo shack right in front of the beach with Cresta De Gallo in the distance.

10.0This place is amazing! We felt at home :). Marevic and Uwe are sooo accommodating and lovely. We loved them. The accommodation itself its super nice, right in front of the sea. The bungalow is clean and new and has all the ammenities you could wish for and more. We had to cook since we're vegan and Marevic helped us have everything we needed. They arranged our tour to Cresta de Gallo and rented us their motorbike for an affordable price. We had an amazing time in Sibuyan. Danke Marevic, Uwe and Hund Samy:) definitely we will come back to your place once we come back to Sibuyan!!!
