It was not worth the money. I could have stayed at the Corrie hotel for less and have breakfast

House was Homley and had everything you would expect. House was an ideal size for a family of 5 or 6 people.

− Drive is narrow and hard to navigate back down.

Lovely location with great views. Good size for family of 5 plus dog. Great wee den area upstairs for the kids to hang out.

− Having stayed here previously, we felt the whole property was feeling in need of a little TLC. Cobwebs everywhere, didn't feel particularly clean. Elevated garden and patio areas could be beautiful, but again, in dire need of attention - overgrown foliage, crumbling/unfinished walls., rusted furniture etc.

A relaxing break in a lovely setting, but let down by the level of cleanliness we experienced.

The location was great. The cottage belonged to my grandparents for many years so it was lovely to be back there and remember such good times.

− The general level of cleanliness and house keeping was disappointing. The floor of the en-suite off the yellow room was dirty - it needs a good scrub. There were several blankets over the living room chairs which smelt of dogs so should be washed or replaced every time so clean for the next occupants. The skirting generally and window sills in the conservatory were dusty and there were several cobwebs in the upper corners of doorways and also in the bedrooms. In the blue room the spaces behind and around the bedside cabinets hadn’t been hoovered. It was impossible to get the front door to lock from the outside so we had to exit through the conservatory each time.
