10.0The cottage is beautiful and the grounds and views are exceptional. Well equipped kitchen and comfortable main bedroom downstairs. Such a nice place to stay.
Charming cottage with beautiful views.
10.0We loved everything about this cottage. It was as described, quirky, warm, and comfortable. We really liked the lounge with its stunning views, and had fun on the staircase, carrying the dogs up and down. We didn't see much of the owners, but when we did, they were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely visit again.
− Nothing. It was lovely. If I had to find one thing, the oven could do with a clean, but when I mentioned it to Allison, she was on to it straight away.
Amazing little getaway
9.0What an amazing location - the views are breathtaking and if you like to look at the stars the dark skies are amazing . The garden and surroundings are so peaceful and it was lovely to watch the alpacas play in the bottom garden. We took the opportunity to explore the area - with lovely drives to Porthmadog and down to the Mach Loop (although we spotted a C130 flying over Bala) last tip - follow the arrival instructions they are very clear and you wont get lost
− Be wary driving up the lane if you have a low profile car - we caught the underside of ours a couple of times, there are also no passing places - so be aware you may need to reverse back if there is a car coming the other way. The only thing I didn't like inside the cottage was the stairs to the lounge - quirky but I have a real fear of stairs 🙃
Well worth the effort.
8.0The property was as described, it was comfortable, and the location was great. The owner was really helpful and friendly.
− I’m 66, so bare that in mind when I say the following: 1. The spiral staircase was difficult for me (and my spaniel) I found it tight and a little rickety. 2. The final road up to the house was tight, but I got used to it.
