Magical family weekend in March

The facilities, size, position, was perfect for our group and the weather was fantastic as well.

− The vehicle entrance is narrow and a car parked on the opposite side of the road, on faded double yellow lines, restricted the access even more. There were only a couple of minor things we didn't find but otherwise very well stocked house.

Generally everyone had a great time.

Great location Housekeeper very helpful when the oven tripped off. Enjoyed the hot tub and outside area.

− Kitchen equipment could be better. One tea towel for 14 people not enough. Bed too soft. Cramped seating in the kitchen for 14. Hated the plastic plants.

Superb location and the garden & home is brilliant. Well, stocked home with good stairguards, highchairs and it was good the the washing up machine was mended thank you.

− However, the latches on the bedroom doors are very noisy at night. Our double duvet cover material awful in the double room by the kitchen. Salt and pepper and other basic kitchen essentials would have been nice to find. Plus there wasn't a proper mattress in the travel cots downstairs for the babies. The bridge over there stream is a little tight!! For future guests I would suggest that a welcome gift/hamper of milk, wine, biscuits and chocolates would be a nice touch as it happens in other holiday cottages?

We had an amazing break for my mums 60th birthday.

We loved the quirky decor, the location was brilliant. The kitchen was filled with everything you need. The house was nice and clean. We loved the stream at the front of the house. We really enjoyed sitting near the stream drinking tea. We hired the hot tub. We are glad we did as it was well worth pay a little extra.

− Nothing, we absolutely loved our stay here.

Great for big groups

The house was spacious, clean and warm, with a large table that all 14 could fit round. Hot tub was great and warm for when we arrived. Rooms were all really comfortable. Really useful little hall night lights on sensors which ment no lights needed to be on at night. Great outside space for hanging wetsuits, perfect position for parking and walking to the pub.

− Drive way was tight to get in if you have a van, but lots of street parking so not an issue.

The property is stunning- it’s perfect for a group and has everything you could possibly need! lovely layout, comfy beds and beautiful bathrooms and outdoors.
