Loved it and would recommend to anyone visiting Durham!
9.0Overall, it was a terrific place to stay. Loved the location - just a block down to the heart of Durham's old city. House was very comfortable, light and bright! Loved the little back garden with seating.
− The front room was a bit loud on weekend nights but that's easy to remedy with earplugs. (would be nice for owners to provide) I would also say that the front bedroom upstairs could benefit from darker window coverings, but that was minor.
Perfect stay at central homely apartment.
9.0Homely atmosphere, comfortable, warm, all creature comforts. Great location.
Very good
8.0Homely feel. Well equipped
Lovely house please continue to look after it as it has been done to such a great spec but the practicalities need to wo
8.0Completely love the house, beautifully done, fab location.
− The tv reception (watching six nations rugby) was intermittent to bad and the shower is poor pressure and the cradle doesn’t support the head so it is more of a hose than a shower. Also although the location is fab for town it does make for a very noisy night long into the wee small hours.
Superb
9.0We were there for a Masters graduation ceremony. The location was excellent. The property was spotlessly clean, very comfortable and well equipped. It did say that there was parking. This was very important as one family member was elderly. We asked specifically about the parking and were told that there were permits in the house. There were two covering a maximum of three hours each. We were there for four days!! We had two cars. Fortunately one of the cars has a disabled badge. We looked up the council website and found that we could park the car in a permit area using the badge. However we had to put the other car in the multi story car park. It was inconvenient and expensive. We feel that the 'parking' should be made clearer as to what it means as it was very misleading.
− Parking issue described above.
