Famara House 12♡

Great location, but the house itself fell short of what we had experienced in this neighbourhood before.

We stayed in Famara House 12 for six nights. We know this neighbourhood very well and have stayed in several other houses here before, so we naturally had certain expectations. Unfortunately, this house did not meet them. Compared to the other houses we have stayed in nearby, this one was noticeably less well equipped and maintained. The outdoor area in particular felt quite basic, and overall the house seemed to lack the thoughtful touches and care we have experienced in the neighbouring properties. Inside, the style and furnishings—especially in the living room—felt outdated. The bedrooms have very small windows, resulting in a lack of natural daylight throughout the day. The queen bed had a very poor-quality mattress: extremely hard, and it felt as if there was some kind of plastic wrapping between the mattress and the sheets, as we could constantly hear plastic noises when turning. Overall, the sleep quality for us was quite terrible. Additionally, the hairdryer needs to be replaced, as it already has melted plastic on it. The location itself is, of course, fantastic. You are only about 50 metres from the ocean, and the architecture in this area is wonderful, with each terrace designed to offer privacy. However, aside from the excellent location, we feel the house would benefit from better equipment, more attention to detail, and an update of both the interior and exterior furnishings. Perhaps our impression is influenced by having stayed in much better houses in this same neighbourhood, but overall, this stay did not match our previous experiences here.

I loved my stay there and the host was super welcoming. Highly recommend it.
