La casa è bellissima e spaziosa, molto accogliente e arredata con cura. Dispone di tutto il necessario, non manca nulla ma in caso basta chiedere alla signora Sandra, che è molto gentile e disponibile. I letti sono comodi con possibilità di scelta guanciale. Bastano 5 minuti di auto per raggiungere i supermercati e Playa Honda, dove si trovano diversi ristoranti. La posizione è un ottimo punto di partenza per qualsiasi escursione, oltre ad essere molto vicina all'aeroporto; nonostante la vicinanza all'aeroporto, non si avverte nessun disturbo nè rumore. Abbiamo particolarmente apprezzato l'aver trovato al nostro arrivo acqua, succo d'arancia, frutta e qualche snack. In dispensa abbiamo trovato ampia scelta di spezie, oltre a tè, caffè, sale, zucchero

Beautiful property in a quiet area

A beautiful property with a wonderful outdoor area. We really enjoyed our stay at La Guajira and would highly recommend it to family and friends. The area was very quiet, with a small village shop within walking distance, although I would recommend a car if wishing to travel around the island. The property was clean and nicely decorated, with lots of authentic touches which complemented the age of the house. Everything you could need to prepare a meal in the kitchen, although a dishwasher would have been useful. If visiting Lanzarote in the future, then we would not hesitate to stay here again.

Everything was perfect, we arrived late and with no food to then be greeted by the host with food and drinks in the kitchen. Everything was 10/10 beautiful property with everything you’d ever need inside, pool and pool room were amazing. We didn’t rent a car and had no trouble getting around on buses to main areas. On our last day the host gave us a lift down to playa Honda and refused any money. This was my second trip abroad and it couldn’t have been any better. Would 100% return

Perfect place to enjoy secluded sun and relaxation

The property is gorgeous, and far from the tourist traps. Car rental is recommended as you will need to drive to the shops from here, but it is a very short and convenient drive, you’re only about 25 minutes from the volcanic national park, about 5 minutes from all the grocery shops you could need, and about 10 minutes from numerous beaches, and about 10 minutes from museo césar manrique. The property has a lovely kitchen with all the equipment you’ll need for meals, the pool is lovely and gets the sun all day so you can enjoy tanning, and if you ever have any questions Alejandra is incredibly accommodating and helpful. I could have asked for a better week away to unwind and disconnect.

Good hub for exploring the island

The host, Alejandra, was exceptionally helpful throughout our stay. The house was spacious and comfortable, with interesting art to enjoy throughout the home. The pool room was brilliant for relaxing and reading. It was very easy to reach the house from the airport, and it was easy to get to various attractions across the island by car (approx. 30 mins to the caves, the underground lake, and the Haria market; approx. 30 mins to the volcanic national park; approx. 25 mins to the cactus garden; approx. 15 mins to the Cesar Manrique foundation/museum; approx. 10 mins to large local supermarkets and a very helpful pharmacy; approx. 15 mins to Puerto del Carmon restaurants and nightlife). The house is in a lovely, quiet location tucked away from the busy tourist resorts, allowing for a peaceful break. There is a local shop just a few minutes walk away, and it even stocked some basic gluten-free items (bread, pasta, biscuits), which was a big bonus for us and an unexpected delight!

− The mattresses were a little firm for us, but everyone has different preferences!

Beautiful and characterful old finca

The owners were perfect hosts. Direct communication was easy and efficient. They were welcoming, and their hospitality was generous and friendly. We loved the cat too! Their house, converted from a very old farm, has tons of original features, tasteful decor, and is surprisingly spacious both inside and out.

− The house was very well equipped and had everything we needed. The only small improvement would be a dishwasher: it would use less water, a scarce resource in Lanzarote, and be better than washing-up dishes after every meal.
