Best for a winter stay

Amazing home; the pictures don't begin to capture the interesting details. Recommend for a winter stay to enjoy the fire place, sauna and outdoor jacuzzi...summers are getting too warm in Europe and--although two of the three bedrooms have air conditioning, it struggles to keep up with higher outdoor temperatures. Overall, very comfortable, clean and Paul was an excellent host.

− The upstairs king bedroom is accessed through the 3x twin room and both share a bath. The kitchen is fascinating and well equipped, but a little cramped for serious cooking. You'll certainly want a car--and a snowy or icy driveway could pose a problem. The air conditioning is only in 2 of 3 bedrooms (the upstairs bedrooms).

Magical family Christmas near Leuven

The design and layout of the place, it's location means it's peaceful and you won't be disturbed, we are a family of 5 and the 3 bedrooms were perfect for us. The kitchen is well equipped, the living area was perfect.for out Christmas dinner and there is a shopping centre with two supermarkets, an Action store and a bowling centre 15 to 20 mins walk or a 6 min drive away. It has a parking area and a garage too. Paul is an excellent and helpful host too. All in all it was the perfect location for a magical family Christmas. The ambience - the house looks like something from a gothic fairy tale inside.

− There are lots of steep steps, and the entrance is on a steep sloping driveway. You do need a car, to bring your bikes or to be able to pay for Ubers/taxis if you want to get into Leuven or if you need to get shopping in. Would have been useful to have had a few more pictures in the listing. And the mattress in the bedroom my wife and I slept in was a soft mattress, great for some, but I'm a form mattress man.

Sehr liebevoll und stilgerecht eingerichtet . Ausreichend Getränke zur Auswahl. Tolle Lage, schöner Ausblick mit einer wunderschönen Terrasse

− Es war uns nicht warm genug, die Sauna heizte nur bis 47Grad und der Whirlpool sprudelte kaum wahrnehmbar.

Top locatie, niet te ver van Leuven. Ongeveer uurtje wandelen, en met de über+/- 10 min Huis is verrassend spannend ingedeeld en met smaak ingericht. Keuken / BBQ prima. Kamers, bedden en sanitair prima. Jacuzzi top Contact met eigenaar Paul helemaal goed. Heeft paar heerlijke biertjes en wijntjes tegen inkoop prijs koud staan.
