Spacious Garden Guest Suite with private in-suite

A great budget stay - ideal if you're out and about exploring London

This was a really nice little place to stay. It's essentially a summer house, but done out with a small shower/ toilet/ wash basin and kitchen area with hobs, microwave and washing machine. There was enough space in the main living area for a double bed, wardrobe and a small table and chairs. So basically, what you'd get in a hotel. Bed was comfy and the place was well looked after, save for acceptable wear from previous visitors. Located on a good bus route and not too far from a tube station, so easy to get around.

− The only thing I didn't like was the shower rail! It just needs replacing, as it's clearly been bent or damaged by previous occupants. This was only a minor thing and didn't distract from our stay.

− Brak Wifi, czystość, brak możliwości przewietrzenia normalnie pomieszczenia, brak wentylatora, ściany z papieru przez które słychać sąsiadów którzy są ekstremalnie blisko. Ogólnie klimat jak w przyczepie kempingowej i nie jest to żart.

− vybavanie kuchyne (chýbal ostrý nôž, hlboký tanier...), nedala sa pustiť studená voda v kuchyni, v zariadení chýbal ventilátor, bolo v spálni vyše 30°C počas slnečného dňa, nedalo sa otvoriť okno/dvere smerom von zo spálne na vyvetranie

Cute place but not clean

Lovely little space with a lot of potential. The bed was super comfy and has the basic stuff you need like towels, plates/cutlery, a couple of pillows each that were quite big, and isn’t a bad location at all! 15 mins walk from the supermarkets and 20 mins walk to the metro. The bedroom area was nice and was decorated well! Really safe as there’s a code from the front drive to get to the back garden and then another code to go into the air b and b. I liked that we didn’t have keys to carry around as I could just screenshot the codes. I had no problems with the hosts whilst there as we didn’t see them but we felt safe here. There is lots of hills when getting from the metro to this place so if you struggle walking etc I wouldn’t chose this place but this didn’t bother us! About £45 for an uber from London city centre back here on a Saturday evening/early morning. Only £15 for an uber to Wembley. It was perfect for going to Wembley because we walked about 10 mins to get away from the crowds and then could easily get an uber back which again was only £15

− It was not clean at all. The shower head had pink bacteria on it. Mould falling out of the toilet when flushed. The tap above the toilet had mould coming from it when running it. A couple of flies in the fridge (probably got stuck there when a previous guest shut the door). The bag for life under the cupboard had dirt and dead flies in it. The shower was dirty. I never felt clean when I was showering. We couldn’t cook properly as every time we did the fire alarm would go off. We put it on a much lower heat and kept putting the pan out the window every few minutes to stop the steam setting off the alarm. The fridge wasn’t turned on when we arrived and to safely keep food at the correct temp in the fridge it needs to be on for a few hours before putting anything in it. This meant we had to risk putting the food in that we already bought and hope that it didn’t spoil. This place has a lot of potential but unfortunately I’ve stayed in hostels that have been cleaner. The host responds to everyone saying it’s a “budget” place to stay but no where when booking does it state it’s a “budget” place. I’m happy working to a budget which is exactly why we booked somewhere with facilities to cook as we wanted to save money. Whether it is “budget” or not it should be clean on arrival. I shouldn’t have to clean things as soon as I arrive. Now it could have just been that no one stayed there for a while so the place was cleaned after the last guests and not cleaned since but either way I feel like it wasn’t checked. I didn’t bring up these problems to the host as in their replies on here to people they’re quite abrupt. I also enquired about parking as I saw someone say they paid £2 per day to park and I wanted to know how to book it. I was immediately met with resistance stating I was asking for it for free when I was enquiring how to book it. I then actually went on their page and found in 2 separate areas stating it was free and the host said we could then do £5 per day.

location was ok

− dirty, kettle was full of water, couldnt open the french doors and it was stuffy inside, bathroom shower and around the sink were full of mould, lots of spiders around the bed, wouldn't recommend its cheap but not worth the hassle
