− We were not informed about needing to purchase our own toilet paper and paper towels. There was enough for a day, but more was needed considering there were 4 adults staying here. We thought this was very strange considering we were only there for 4 nights. Also, the hosts was supposed to meet us to go through the house and show us everything, but did not. We had to call the host a few times to obtain information. I also recommend that "Englist" instructions be left with the washer and dryer. Americans do not know how to use European appliances.

The property is situated directly on the beach, allowing you to enjoy the soothing sound of the waves. It features a rooftop terrace with stunning views and sun loungers for relaxation. The building is beautiful and quirky in style. A spacious kitchen and dining area provide ample room for catering and entertaining. Guests also receive a fantastic welcome pack with fresh fruit, water, gorgeous wine, and soft drinks. Located right on the beachfront and in the town, the property offers convenience and charm. We felt welcomed and looked after throughout our stay by the fabulous team. We loved it! thank you!

Outstanding property with an equally excellent location!

The location is outstanding, as you will know from the photos - simply run down some stairs, cross a small local access road, and you're on the beach. Wonderful views from both bedrooms and the rooftop terrace, too! Staff was very professional and made sure small additional requests were swiftly taken care of. The whole property was very clean, had excellent amenities, and also took into account that we were travelling with a toddler - baby bed, mini bathtub, vegetable steamer and more were provided without us even asking for it.

− We lost hot water for a couple of hours, though they immediately sent a handyman who was able to temporarily fix the issue. This can happen anywhere - I view their response time is a clear indicator of the high level of professionalism! One small note: Please remind all employees to take off their shoes/wear plastic toppers when entering a property. On the day we lost hot water, two regular staff members first came in to check that we did indeed lose hot water - and with it having rained that day, dragged dirt and mud all throughout the first two floors, which we had to clean up after them. Not grading the property down for this - I believe this will be addressed immediately. :) We'd be delighted to return to Sol e Mar if we ever find our way back to the Algarve coast!
