Beautiful villa a stone’s throw from the beach
9.0The villa was beautifully designed, decorated and maintained, and spotlessly clean. The host Eleni was very welcoming and provided a lovely selection of fruit, baked treats and drinks, and even some teddies as well as a high quality cot and high chair for our baby. She was very flexible about arrival and check out times which we appreciated. The kitchen is especially well appointed and designed: it was a rare treat to have things like olive oil and seasonings provided so we didn’t need to buy absolutely everything, and it had all the equipment we could possibly think of. While the pool is relatively small (though the size we expected from the pictures), it was lovely to use to cool off, and the outdoor area had lots of lovely plants and was beautifully lit up for sitting out in the evening. The villa is moments away from the beach, and there are lots of restaurants and supermarkets within walking distance, though it is best to have a car to get to less touristy restaurants and see more of the island.
− Just two minor points: the wifi was a little unreliable during our stay, and it would have been great to have a parasol in the garden to offer some shade as it was mostly in full sun.
